Do Good and Support Local Troops

Its almost time for Giving Tuesday, so we hope everyone’s gearing up to do their part to give back to the community. Chris is on the UNC Charlotte Young Alumni Chapter Board of Directors and they’re actually getting an early start with a project to collect items for active-duty deployed military service members from right here in NC! They’ve been collecting items all week on both UNCC main and Center City campuses. If you’re close to either campus today, consider dropping by one of the locations and donating. View this flyer to learn more about what items you can provide and where you can donate. And tomorrow you can actually come hang out at Alumni Tailgate Village before the football game where it’ll be Military Appreciation Day and donate there, as well. If you haven’t attended a tailgate yet this year, tomorrow’s the perfect opportunity! Our friends over at Charlotte Agenda are actually co-hosting this week’s tailgate! Tailgates offer an all-you-can-eat buffet, open bar, live DJ, bounce house and games for the kids, and more. There will be a table display at the tailgate for guests to write ‘thank you’ notes that will included with the care packages they send. Do good and come support!
